BI events and trends in a tag cloud

No sooner did TDWI’s newsweekly post three views of business intelligence trends and events than the combined text appeared as a tag cloud on Many Eyes.

BI This Week editor Jim Powell had asked me, Stephen Swoyer and Mike Schiff to cough up two lists: events from 2007 and trends we expect in 2008. They gave him lists and I, always the odd one, delivered in a different format.

In the one-word view, the John Hancock—hey, now there’s a new meaning for that term—is “applications.” In the two-word view, it’s “analytic applications.”
